Foundations of the English Language

English Elective
This class is designed for students who have an interest in learning more about the English language-its grammar, history, acquisition, words and more.  Students will engage in a variety of projects and activities, both individual and group, to examine topics/subjects such as word etymologies, Greek and Latin root words, grammar and sentence structure, language development, language acquisition, world writing systems, and the history of the English language.
