Communication at EHS

Erie High School has a number of ways that we communicate with parents, students and the community.  Make sure that you are taking advantage of those which work the best for you so you can stay on top of all that’s happening at Erie High School.

Messaging

We aim to provide you with messages that are helpful without bothering you.  The best way to strike that balance is to have you set your own preferences for communications from the school.  If you complete the required census update we will have your communication preferences.  Please log into Infinite Campus and click on More and then Personal Information Review.  The survey should take under 10 minutes for returning students and provides us with great information.

Additionally, the front office sends out special messages for parents to be aware of particular situations.

F Messages: We will send a message on Wednesday afternoon when your child has an F in a class.

Tardy/Absent Messages: You will be advised if your child has incurred a tardy or absence in a class.

Missing Assignment Messages: On Mondays we send you a message about assignments that have not been turned in which still may be turned in for credit.

You can access Infinite Campus via the web or by using the mobile application for Apple or Android.  The advantage of the Infinite Campus App is that it will notify parents, rather than than parents needing to seek the information out.

Weekly Updates

Updates are sent out at the end of the week that contain critical information, celebrations of our students’ successes and important dates for upcoming events.  If you do not currently get these updates click here.  If you ever wish to stop receiving them you may unsubscribe yourself using a link at the bottom of the page.
