Dear Students and Families,

St. Vrain Valley Schools remains committed to providing postsecondary college and career opportunities that will give students a strong competitive advantage for their future. To this end, St. Vrain is providing the 2023-24 National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) on October 11, 2023. Each high school will administer the NMSQT to all 11th grade students. Additionally, 9th and 10th grade students will take a full length practice PSAT 9 and PSAT 10. Wednesday, October 11, 2023 will be an asynchronous day of learning at home for students in grade 12. High School principals will follow up with the specific daily schedule for October 11, 2023.

The PSAT/NMSQT is an opportunity for students to compete for over $30 million in college scholarships, and is an important step in preparing for the SAT exam that will be administered in the spring of their junior year.
