Dear Students and Parents,

This is an update of what's happening around Erie High School for the community and all of the Erie High School family:

Erie High Performance Arts Presents W;t: Only one show remains.  Tickets are not available at the door.  Please purchase them online at the link.

EHS Needs Office Volunteers: If you are interested in helping our Front Office Staff for an hour, we've set up a VolunteerSpot for you!

Homecoming 2015 Spirit Days: Show your school spirit each day by dressing up.

Congratulations Erie Idol Top 5!: Congratulations to John Shultz, Christine Discenza, Katelyn Broerman, Jared Romero and Alia Brand for qualifying for the Top 5!  See you in the FINALS on October 5th, 7pm.

Homecoming Football Tickets Available for Pre-Sale: Get your tickets before the game and skip the long entry line!

Homecoming Dance Information: Get the information you need here prior to the big dance!

New Carpool System: We have begun using a new system to help those interested in carpooling to/from EHS.  Get more information at this link.

EHS Hosts Top Engineering Schools for Visit: Representatives from Caltech, Purdue and the University of Michigan will be available to discuss prospective University choices for students in the Engineering Program and others.

PSAT Testing Available: Junior students interested in the PSAT (and some select Sophomores) will test on October 14th.  This is a practice test and serves as the qualifier for the National Merit Scholarship.

Take Your Parents to Lunch Day: National School Lunch Week is October 12-16 and SVVSD invites families to help us celebrate the week with Take Your Parents to Lunch Day!  We are encouraging parents to find a day during National School Lunch Week to join their student for lunch, take a Lunch Selfie featuring you, your student and your meal, and then send it to harter_sarah@svvsd.org for a chance to win a prize!

Enjoy BBQ and the Miner's Game (vs Frederick): The Erie High School Education Foundation is hosting a barbecue and game combo to raise funds for their scholarship fund.  Don't miss it!
