EHS Update,  11/13/2015

Dear Students and Parents,

This is an update of what's happening around Erie High School for the community and all of the Erie High School family:


Interested in Discussing High School Start Times?:

There will be a public input session on this topic on November 19th.


Thanksgiving Break:

Classes will not be held during the week of November 23rd - 27th.  Classes will resume on November 30th with a regular Day 2 (Periods 5 - 8) schedule.


EHS' Library Media Center Needs Volunteers:

The large number of students using the Library at lunch has created a need for volunteers from our community.  Can you help?  Just enter your email to get started.


Parents of Advanced Placement Students:

Make sure your child is registered to take the AP test(s) for the class(es) they are taking.  Registration is due by November 24th.


Students & Staff of the Month:

Congratulations to Westley Cody, Sarah Gotfredson, McKayla Daniels, Jacob Mansdorfer, Gary Fischer, Gretchen Riedel, Colten Eichenger, Emma Guy, Matt Whitteker and Julie Mitchell for being named!


Booster Club Would Like Your Input:

They are trying to promote community and parent involvement and want to know your opinions.


2nd Semester Schedules Are Complete:

Take a look at your 2nd Semester schedule.  If there is a problem, all schedule changes should be taken care of by December 4th


Josten's Orders Online:

Any students who wish to order caps and gowns for graduation need to do the order online to meet the November 22nd deadline.


US JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship:

Here is a great scholarship opportunity for students interested in having more money for their post-graduation studies!

Learn about second semester schedules, college visits and applications, new classes, scholarships and more.


Choral Music Needs Your Help:

If you love the arts at Erie High School consider this way to help our programs take excellence to the next level.


Baby Ads:

Parents of Seniors, keep in mind that the deadline for ordering a baby dedication for your child in the yearbook is December 1st.


Changes for EHS Driver Ed Classes:

The next sessions of Driver Education will begin December 2nd.  The classes will be taught by Mr Stecina, Erie High's Dean of Students.  Learn more about the changes.


Congratulations, Mr Hicks & Mrs. Singh:

Two Erie High School teachers were awarded grants through the Education Foundation of the St Vrain Valley.  They'll use these funds to help students take academic success to the next level!
