EHS Update,  11/6/2015

Dear Students and Parents,

This is an update of what's happening around Erie High School for the community and all of the Erie High School family:

Students & Staff of the Month:

Congratulations to Westley Cody, Sarah Gotfredson, McKayla Daniels, Jacob Mansdorfer, Gary Fischer, Gretchen Riedel, Colten Eichenger, Emma Guy, Matt Whitteker and Julie Mitchell for being named!

Early Access to Pell Grants for Dual Enrollment:

Students have easier access to funds without having yet graduated from high school.

Wes Brow Named Aspire Athlete of the Week:

Congratulations to Wes for being recognized by the Aspire Sports Drink company. 

Moo-Poo Classic:

Purchase a "deed" of property on the practice field.  If a cow plops in your plot, you win!  This will be a fundraiser event at the final home football game of the season.

Josten's Orders Online:

Any students who wish to order caps and gowns for graduation need to do the order online to meet the November 22nd deadline.

Concurrent Enrollment Offerings:

Just a reminder that Friday, November 13th is the deadline for Concurrent Enrollment for second semester!

SALT Visits Children's:

The Student-Athlete/Activities Leadership Team brought some fun to children who needed it.

Counseling Newsletter:

Learn about second semester schedules, college visits and applications, new classes, scholarships and more.

Baby Ads:

Parents of Seniors, keep in mind that the deadline for ordering a baby dedication for your child in the yearbook is December 1st.

Changes for EHS Driver Ed Classes:

The next sessions of Driver Education will begin December 2nd.  The classes will be taught by Mr Stecina, Erie High's Dean of Students.  Learn more about the changes.

Congratulations, Mr Hicks & Mrs. Singh:

Two Erie High School teachers were awarded grants through the Education Foundation of the St Vrain Valley.  They'll use these funds to help students take academic success to the next level!
