New Plan for Fridays

After receiving feedback from teachers, students, and parents on last Friday’s learning experience, we have made a slight adjustment to how Fridays will work. Beginning tomorrow, August 28th, teachers will post all of that day’s assignments by 8:55 a.m. on Schoology. Students will have until 2 p.m. to complete and submit those assignments. Each class’s assignment completion will count for your student’s attendance on that Friday.

Erie UpLink TigerPacks

Erie UpLink’s Tiger Packs are food-filled packs delivered to the student’s doorstep 9 times throughout the school year for long weekends and holiday breaks. The program is need-based, confidential and available to students who reside in Erie or attend Erie partner schools. The packs contain kid-friendly food along with seasonal items. Parents/Guardians must register their children each school year using our simple Google Form or by completing an application available in the school office.

iPad Insurance Window Closing on September 4th

Your opportunity to purchase iPad Insurance for this school year ends on September 4th, 2020.  Information about iPad insurance is available here.  Our school recommends insurance for every student. Each year we have to have an uncomfortable conversation with students and parents who chose not to purchase insurance but have to pay to repair or replace an iPad.

New Login Requirement for WebEx

Students will be required to use their SVVSD-issued iPads to login to WebEx OR use their school email address in order to enter a WebEx room.  This  change will discourage unwanted guests in the WebEx rooms.  Please make a note of this prior to Monday, August 24th so that you are able to access your classes.
