Cold weather is approaching! While that may mean new clothes for some of us, it means a fear of freezing for those who are less fortunate! We will be collecting all winter clothing that is in good condition including hats, socks, jackets, hoodies, coats, vests, gloves, sweat pants, and blankets. There will be a table set up near the front office during lunch, beginning Monday, December 3rd! Each student who brings a donation will get a cup of hot chocolate courtesy of Erie High School’s National Honor Society! All donations will go to local homeless shelters and programs that are the most in need. So far, The Our Center and HOPE House in Longmont have both been in contact with us. We will sort the donations based on what each location needs most. Your donation will help share warmth and happiness to those most in need so remember to bring your warm clothes to donate between now and the end of Finals Week.
