High Plains Library District has some excellent opportunities for students who are interested in learning more about college admissions testing and the strategies they need to perform better. The library is offering free practice ACT and SAT tests for students as well as online test preparation for students and others who are interested.
The college admissions process can be daunting, but armed with the right information, you can be successful! Students or parents can join us to learn about practical college planning and lowering the cost of college. Lois Rice, Erie resident and education consultant for 12 years, will discuss topics that include standardized testing, the application process, as well as tips about financial aid. SAT or ACT: Which test is right for you? Find out on October 24. Too many students struggle to get good SAT scores and never realize there is another test to take. Here is your chance to see... Once your scoring is complete your past results will be analyzed and compared to your practice test. You will receive a score report and analysis with recommendations for which test to consider, areas to focus on, and ways to increase your score. Make this FREE event part of your college planning!
