EHS Student Named to the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders

Colorado Representative Ken Buck notified Erie High School Junior, Evelyn Esparza that she had been named as the Delegate representing the State of Colorado at the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders.  Evelyn was chosen by the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists based on her leadership ability, academic achievement and dedication.  The program is designed to inspire young people to go into STEM fields and provides a path, plan and mentoring resources to help them reach their dreams.

Evelyn will serve as Colorado's Delegate from June 29th to July 1st and will have the chance to learn from luminaries of the STEM field including top scientific university deans, leaders from government and the private sector, and even Nobel laureates!
