Great Week in Sports @ EHS!

It's been a great week for Erie High School Athletics!  

Erie's Freshmen Boys Cross-Country athletes won first place in the Pat Amato Cross-Country Meet!  Timothy Fritsche took 6th place, Alex Walker tood 8th place, Connor Free took 12th place, Elias Hinojosa took 13th place, and Jamis Schriner took 19th place in the race...that's five athletes in the top 20!

Erie High School Boys Tennis is sending four athletes to the State Championships for the first time in school history!  Good job and good luck to Alex Ailey, Derek Sorenson, Nash Phillips and Trevor Winterton at the State competition!

Erie High School Boys Soccer has won their fourth game in a row this week and is building in strength as the season progresses.  Keep it up boys!

Erie High School has a legacy of incredible Softball teams which is living on as our girls this week were able to secure their place at the top of the Tri Valley League which is one of the most competitive leagues in the state.  Erie's Lady Tigers Softball took regionals on Thursday evening with their big 4-0 win over Mead.  Frederick's Warriors defeated the Holy Family Team which hoisted the Erie Tigers to the top of their league!
