- Student Enrollment
It has been our intention to return to some form of in-person learning as soon as it was determined by our health departments that it is both safer and feasible to do so. On September 21, during our virtual town hall with county health department officials, we reviewed the current coronavirus data for our community. To this end, our county health agency partners have made the recommendation that it is now appropriate for us to return to a hybrid learning model. Click here to watch the virtual town hall discussion about the data guiding our decisions and current levels in our community. Beginning Monday, October 5, we will be implementing a hybrid in-person learning schedule for all students who are not currently enrolled in the LaunchED program. LaunchED student’s schedules will not be impacted by this change.
The annual tradition continues at Erie High School as alumni come from around the country to give tribute to their high school by attending the Erie Homecoming festivities! It's a week of celebration that kicks off with daily spirit days each day of the week. On Friday, September 16th we will have an SSR assembly to introduce each of the spirit days and the way they look to the EHS student body:
Friday will have a modified schedule to allow for an hour long assembly at the end of the day. The schedule for Friday will be as follows:
On Friday, the Erie Optimists host the annual Homecoming Parade. The parade makes its way through town beginning at about 5:15pm. Floats, bands and marchers of all ages make this parade a treat for all! Friday evening at 7pm the Erie Tigers Varsity Football team hosts the Berthoud High School Spartans in a Homecoming Football game which draws the largest crowd of the season! Students, parents, and alumni pack the stands to root on the home team at Erie High School Tiger Stadium. At half time, each of the members of the Homecoming Royalty Court are announced to the audience. Last year's King and Queen will crown this year's Homecoming King and Queen in front of the huge crowd at the game.
On Saturday, September 27th from 8 to 11pm the Erie High School Leadership and Student Government classes host the annual Homecoming Dance in the Main Gym at Erie High School. Erie High School students of all ages are invited to attend this most-attended dance of the year. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $20/ticket or at the door for $25.
