No PLC/Late Start Day in October

The State of Colorado has picked October 5th as the official day that public schools in Colorado count all students in their classrooms to determine funding for each school.

Coincidentally, this date falls on one of our scheduled Late Start Days.  To remedy this, the St Vrain Valley School District has decided to hold regular scheduled classes on that day, Wednesday, October 5th.

Classes will be held that day on a normal Day 1 schedule.

It is very important that all students who are able to, attend that day so that Erie High School is allocated the correct amount of funding for the number of students we have.

Though attendance at school is always important, it is even more important on that day.  Obviously, if a student is ill on that day we respect parents' choice to be judicious in deciding whether or not to send their children to school.

Thank you for noting this change of our original schedule on your calendar.  If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to call the school at (303) 828-4213 or by email.
