School Safety/Bond Community Meetings Scheduled

Dear St. Vrain Valley Families:

Thank you for your continued partnership as we work together to advance the well-being and academic success of our students. We are very fortunate to have such committed families, outstanding students and dedicated teachers and staff that make our community a highly engaging and supportive environment for our children to thrive.

Quality learning environments, student safety and school culture are important parts of a successful academic experience. Toward this end, we work closely with many partners across our community to ensure our learning environments are of the highest quality.

Upcoming Community Meetings
We’d like to invite your continued participation in supporting the success of our students and schools. Accordingly, in early March, St. Vrain Valley Schools will host four School Safety/Bond Community Meetings to discuss topics related to school safety and projects from the 2016 bond.

Below are dates and locations for these upcoming events:

Coal Ridge Middle School

Trail Ridge Middle School

Thursday, March 2 | 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Altona Middle School

Tuesday, March 7 | 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Erie Middle School
650 Main St, Erie, CO 80516
Thursday, March 9 | 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

These meetings are designed to review current security features/protocols, discuss how school officials, law enforcement, parents and students can work together to further strengthen school safety, and show the progress of current 2016 bond projects. Community members may attend any or all meetings to ask questions, make suggestions and/or provide feedback. Light refreshments and childcare (ages 3-12) will be provided.
