- Student Enrollment
We continue to closely monitor wildfire activity around our community in partnership with the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office and the Boulder Office of Emergency Management. Firefighters have done an outstanding job closing the spread of the Cal-Wood and Lefthand Canyon Fires, and we are incredibly appreciative of their hard work and dedication to protecting our communities. We must remain vigilant and prepared for any changes to the fire’s activity, particularly with high winds forecasted for this afternoon through Thursday morning. Out of an abundance of caution, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office has requested that we extend our closure of in-person learning at school in Lyons through the end of this week.
Beginning Monday, October 5, we will be implementing a hybrid in-person learning schedule for all students who are not currently enrolled in the LaunchED program. Click here to learn more. Comenzando el lunes 5 de octubre, estaremos implementando un programa de aprendizaje híbrido en persona para todos los estudiantes que no estén inscritos actualmente en el programa LaunchED. EHS students will be taking standardized tests next week which brings about some schedule changes of which you should be aware.
Monday will be a regular Day 1 schedule.
Tuesday, April 11th, 10th and 11th graders will come to school at the usual time in the morning to test, then buses will run again 3 1/2 hours later than the usual time to bring the remaining students to school with shortened classes.
Wednesday and Thursday, April 12th and 13th, 9th graders will take their tests. Testing for Freshmen will take place during the first three classes of the day, then all students will attend 4th and 8th period at the end of the day. Classes continue on for non-9th graders on the regular schedule.
The remaining testing that happens at Erie High School is only for students enrolled in Advanced Placement classes. During those tests, all other classes will continue on as usual.
Students and parents will be notified of important information for each of these testing events by email prior to the actual testing so it is important to keep an eye on your inbox.
As always, if you have any question, please feel free to contact the school at (303) 828-4213 or by email.
