After receiving feedback from teachers, students, and parents on last Friday’s learning experience, we have made a slight adjustment to how Fridays will work. Beginning tomorrow, August 28th, teachers will post all of that day’s assignments by 8:55 a.m. on Schoology. Students will have until 2 p.m. to complete and submit those assignments. Each class’s assignment completion will count for your student’s attendance on that Friday.

Teachers will be available all day to respond to student questions and may schedule check-ins with students and parents as needed, but students will not be required to login to teachers’ individual WebEx rooms unless the teacher has made a special request to allow for extra support or tutoring.

We are encouraging students to manage their time responsibly by following the routine of waking up early and beginning their school work no later than 8:55 a.m when teachers post assignments. Teachers have scaled their Friday assignments to allow for the shortened time period, but students should communicate with their teachers if they are struggling to submit their assignments by the 2 p.m. deadline. Time management will be key to each student’s successful completion of Friday assignments.
