Spring 2023 Parent/Teacher Conferences

On February 15th, from 3:45 – 6:45pm Erie High School will hold its final round of parent/teacher conferences for this school year. Our teachers love to discuss all of their students with parents but it is extremely beneficial for them to speak with parents of students who are struggling in class. We highly recommend that you come to conferences if your child is not being as successful in class as they could be.

Conferences will be in an open format with no appointments necessary. Parents can make their way around the gym and the cafeteria speaking with only the teachers they wish. Please make sure that you have a way to see your child’s teachers names prior to coming to conferences so you know which teachers to talk to.

If you are unable to attend conferences on the evening of February 15th from 3:45 – 6:45pm we suggest that you reach out to the teacher directly, by phone, or by email to arrange a time to meet either in person, virtually, or by phone. You may use our Staff Directory to find contact information for all of our teachers.

Also on February 15th, we will conduct our Dean’s List Awards Presentation. Students who earned a 3.75 GPA or better during the Fall semester of 2022 will be recognized in an in-person ceremony in the Tiger’s Den at Erie High School. Additionally, the ceremonies will be broadcast for those who aren’t in Erie, or are unable to watch the ceremony live. An archived recording of the ceremony will remain on the web indefinitely for students and their families to watch at their convenience. The schedule for the evening is as follows:

Freshmen: 4:45 – 5:05pm
Sophomores: 5:15 – 5:35pm
Juniors: 5:50 – 6:10pm
Seniors: 6:20 – 6:40pm

We look forward to celebrating the academic achievement these students had last semester! Each honoree will receive an academic letter (unless they have already earned one), a gold bar, and a certificate. These are the first in-person Dean’s List Awards Presentations since COVID and we look forward to spending the evening with these students and their families.
