Scholarship Open for Application

The Erie High School Education Foundation was organized the year after Erie High School was built and works to take care of the Erie community by providing scholarships to EHS graduates and alumni to continue their education.

Many of our students attend a typical four-year institution after they graduate and some choose to attend trade schools to learn a career.  With tuition at these schools at all-time highs, it’s important to find funding sources.  Erie High School Education Foundation is the largest single provider of scholarship dollars for EHS students and alumni.

This year applications are being accepted beginning on December 1st!  Apply today so you don’t forget!  The application is quick and easy.  All you’ll need is a letter of recommendation, your official or unofficial transcript, and a short essay.

The EHS Ed Foundation generates and distributes more money than any other SVVSD’s schools’ Ed Foundations.  Last year’s total in scholarships from the EHS Ed Foundation was over $100,000 and all of that money went to EHS graduates and alumni!  This year the Foundation will be offering multiple scholarships to:

  • EHS graduating seniors,
  • Students who plan to attend a trade school or apprenticeship,
  • EHS graduating seniors who have attended Erie Feeder schools continuously since kindergarten,
  • EHS students who have economic hardships and have turned to Erie Uplink for assistance,
  • EHS alumni, who are continuing education after graduation.
