Lunch Benefits Extended!

St Vrain Valley Schools has been notified that we will continue to be able to offer breakfast and lunches to students at no cost for the remainder of the school year.  This allows students to get lunch safely without having to exchange any money and helps ease the burden on our community's families through these tough times.

Submit Your Favorite Name, Mascot, and Color Ideas for St. Vrain’s Newest Elementary School!

The Elementary 28 planning team has extended the initial round of community suggestions on name, mascot, and colors for our newest school within St. Vrain Valley Schools to allow more people the opportunity to submit their ideas.
 
Please submit your input through the online survey. This is a great opportunity for students and families to lend their voice to decide key components to the school spirit of Elementary 28.

SVVSD Student Senate Meeting Virtually

Brandon Shaffer, Former President of the Colorado State Senate and current Executive Director of Legal and Governmental Affairs for SVVSD emailed EHS with some great news!  Last year the SVVSD Student Senate stood down because of COVID-19.  However, we are pleased to report that the club will be run virtually this semester! 
 
As in years past, the Student Senate will meet every other Thursday from 3:30-5:00 and the club will run up until Spring Break.  The main difference is that Student Senate will meet via WebEx and will utilize breakout ro

Message From Mr. Buchler About Returning to School

Students will be returning to hybrid learning on Tuesday, January 19th with a Day 2 Schedule.  Group 1 students will come to school and Group 2 students will attend remotely from home.  We will return to the four-lunch schedule we observed in the Fall.  Attendance policies will return to those we had during hybrid in the Fall as well.  If you have any concerns about how attendance is marked while attending virtually, please contact the teacher directly for a resolution.  Also, check which COVID cohort you
