Students in St Vrain Valley School District who will graduate with the Class of 2021 and beyond will face an additional graduation requirement: Financial Literacy.
This requirement is part of each student’s Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP) which is designed around fulfilling students’ need to increase their Self-Awareness, Postsecondary Aspirations and Options, Environmental Expectations, Academic Planning, Employability Skills and Financial Literacy.

To that end, Erie High School will begin offering a course for the 2018-19 school year which will fulfill this requirement. Please look for the class Financial Literacy in the Course Description Book when it is released later this school year. The course will be open for enrollment without pre-requisites. Though it may be taken by any Erie High School student, ideally students would take this during their Junior year.
For more information about the Financial Literacy class, please contact the counseling office at (303) 828-4213.
