If you are headed up to the library to study or check out a book, groups of three or less must sign in and out in order to reserve a space. The library is a quiet space and you will be asked to leave if you cannot respect this.

Next week is EHS’s Spirit Week! Monday is “Colorado Day”; Tuesday is “Sorority vs. Fraternity”; Wednesday is “Red Flags vs. White Lies”; Thursday is “Barbeque Dad vs. Soccer Mom” and Friday is a “Black Out” for Homecoming Game Day.

The homecoming dance is coming up next weekend. If you plan to bring a guest from another school, don’t forget to pick up a guest form in the office. Forms are due back in by TODAY!

Several members of our XC team are competing today in Arizona and the rest of the team is running at Mead tomorrow. Varsity football is playing Loveland High School tonight, the game is at Ray Patterson Field. Tomorrow the C and JV team play at home. C softball is competing in a tournament at Poudre today as well.

UNC will be here at 12:45 today.

Don’t forget to buy your tickets to “The Odd Couple” showing this Friday and Saturday.

Soccer is on the road again today to Brighton. vVolleyball is headed to Poudre High School and Cross-Country Track is traveling to Arizona for a competition! Softball is home today for a game VS Rocky Mountain. They start at 4:00. Come cheer them on since they are on a 15 game win streak!

 Teachers of sophomores, juniors & seniors, you should have received your students PSAT & SAT score reports in your mailbox to hand to students during today’s lesson. AP students, you will have an AP meeting in the auditorium. Once attendance has been taken and you have received your score report from your teacher, please head to the auditorium for your meeting.  

SENIOR Advisory teachers: please check your email for an update on counselor locations for today’s advisory class.

Seniors who are LGBTQIA+, this is for you! The St Vrain Valley School District is hosting a field trip to learn about community LGBTQIA+ resources. Come to an informational meeting on Monday September 26th in Mrs. Lee’s room C101 from 2:55-3:10 Space is limited. See Mrs. Lee if you can’t make the meeting.

Wabash College will be visiting Monday September 26 at 1245 in the conference room. To attend, sign up on Naviance and reach out to your counselor for a pass if you have a class at that time.

Last night was late and exciting: Soccer won in the 2nd overtime! Volleyball fought for 5 sets but fell to Broomfield. 

JV Softball is at a tournament all day and Varsity Cross Country is at a meet in Northglenn.

Football is at home tonight against Windsor. 

Tomorrow lower level Football plays at Windsor and Softball has a big game at Horizon at 10:00 am

Seniors- On Wednesday during advisory, counselors will be presenting on the college application process. Be sure to be in attendance to receive this important information, or reach out to your counselor if you are unable to attend and would like help with this process.

GSA meets Wednesday after school  in C101!! Remember we are having a special meeting so we will end at 5 instead of 4. Bring your popcorn and a stuffy!

Varsity and JV Softball are playing at the Ballpark in Erie tonight against Brighton. The boys C Soccer team is home tonight against Monarch. Girls Volleyball is away tonight at Monarch. And good luck to our boys Tennis at their league tournament as well as Golf at Regionals!

Attention all current and former Anatomy & Physiology and AP Biology students. Are you interested in the Cadaver Lab opportunity? Sign up for the Fall 2022 Cadaver Lab at the Red Rocks Community College Arvada Campus. The Cadaver Lab will be offered on Friday, October 21st at 5:30pm and Thursday, November 3rd at 5:30pm. Please review your email and pick up your packet from Mrs. Frank. To sign up, bring both permission slips signed by you and your parents along with the payment to Mrs. Frank in room S118. Space is limited and is on a first come first-served basis. Sign up due dates per lab are in the packet.

Would you like to improve your public speaking skills? Do you like to argue? DO you have a dramatic flair? Would you make a great witness? Then Mock Trial is for you! In Mock Trial we prepare a pretend criminal case, and then compete against other schools to see who has the best argument.

Our restroom doors will remain propped open.  The purpose of this is to provide greater safety for students / staff that may be in the hallways or restroom during an emergency.  By propping the doors, individuals that are in/near the restroom during an emergency can close & lock the bathroom doors, providing them a safe place in case of a threat.

Tomorrow is this year’s first Late Start Day. School starts 2 and a half later than normal. If you take the bus at a certain time, add 2.5 hours to that time for pick up.

Asian Culture Club has its 1st meeting today at 3:00 in room T107 and T108. Each month will focus on a different country. This is a non-committal club that meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month.The 1st meeting will have food!

The Model United Nations club will have its first meeting today for all new and returning members.  Please come to room C100 at 2:50.  MUN members work in simulations as international delegates in United Nations conferences designed to solve problems facing the world in the present, past, and future.  It’s a lot of fun.  See Ms. Trinkner if you’d like more information.

Schedule change deadline will be TODAY at noon. As a reminder, we will only be considering schedule change requests for compelling academic reasons.

Tomorrow JV and C football play at Ponderosa, XC competes at Cheyenne, Soccer travels to Pueblo, and C softball is playing in a tournament.
