Counseling Overview

Erie High School and St. Vrain Valley Schools priorities student well-being and support. To this end, we offer many different counseling support services to connect students and families with the information and resources they need to be successful. If you or your student need counseling please contact the front office or reach out to our student support team.

The Erie High School Counseling Department provides students with a range of services to help them achieve their academic goals, handle social/emotional issues, and plan for college or other post-secondary opportunities.

Professional school counselors are certified/licensed educators with a minimum of a master’s degree in school counseling making them uniquely qualified to address all students’ academic, personal/social and career development needs by designing, implementing, evaluating and enhancing a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes and enhances student success. Professional school counselors are employed in elementary, middle/junior high and high schools; in district supervisory positions; and counselor education positions.
