Dear Erie High Families:
Thank you for your continued support as we advance student success at Erie High School. We are working through the plan to ensure that students who were enrolled in Chinese I for the 19-20 school year still have a foreign language option to meet their graduation and college admission requirements.
Students currently enrolled in Chinese I will be switched to Spanish I for the 19-20 school year. If your student does not want to enroll in Spanish, we will also be offering a virtual French class for students in partnership with a local high school. If your student prefers to enroll in the virtual French I course, please contact the school’s front office at 303-828-4213.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we make adjustments for this unexpected disruption to next year’s course offerings. If you have any questions about this change, please do not hesitate to contact your student’s school counselor and we will support them as best we can.
