The Walk of Champions is a ritual at Erie High School where those who have represented our school well athletically, academically or artistically take a walk down the main hall of the school while all of the students in the school applaud and cheer their success.
In order to earn this honor, students must be on the way to representing Erie High School at a State competition. Sometimes, such as in the example of honoring our National Merit Scholarship semi-finalists, the students are being recognized at the National level!
Erie High School’s elite drum line leads the way during the Walk of Champions which mirrors the excitement of the school as the students walk from the lunch room to the athletic area of the school.
This tradition has been adopted by many nearby schools but none does it as well as the original! We look forward to many more of these celebrations as the year progresses.
