To safely account for students who park on the rear side of the building getting into the school, beginning on Monday, January 30th, students will be able to enter the school through Door 23 (nearest the portable buildings on the east side of the school), and Door 8 (nearest the cafeteria on the west side of the school).
This will allow students to enter the school through a door monitored by staff members in the morning. EHS regularly coaches students NOT to open exterior doors for their peers, and this solution allows students easy access to the school without jeopardizing our safety.
Safety and security are the number one priority for Erie High School and the St. Vrain Valley Schools. We are glad to have a solution that allows students the convenience of safely entering the school through doors other than the main entrance in the morning. The new morning entry doors will be staffed and available from 7:15 – 7:45am each school day.
