Prom & After Prom – April 14, 2023
Dear Erie High School Families,
Thank you for your support in another great week at Erie High School. I am proud of our students for their commitment to success in the 11th grade SAT administration on Wednesday and the 9th/10th grade PSAT administration on Thursday. These testing days went very well, and that is a huge tribute to our students, faculty, and staff. I want to thank Mrs. Peebles for her hard work and thoughtfulness in organizing this testing administration.
Next week, we are looking forward to Prom, which will be held on Saturday, April 22nd in the Byron White Club Level in Folsom Field at CU-Boulder from 8-11 pm. The dance will be indoors. This year’s theme is, “A Night in the Lights.” After the dance, we will host After Prom at Erie High School from 11:30 pm – 2:30 am. These events are intended for juniors and seniors.
This is sure to be an outstanding weekend for our participating students, and I am grateful to Mrs. Williams and the EHS student prom committee for their efforts to plan a great Prom, as well as Erie High School parent Michelle Hall and the Erie High School Boosters for planning a great After Prom event. For more details about the Prom event, students can visit the EHS Junior & Senior Schoology pages, and all tickets must be purchased through VanCo link by 2:45 pm on Friday, April 21st.
I hope that all of our students have a fun, safe, and enjoyable Prom weekend. I appreciate your partnership in encouraging your students to enjoy Prom and After Prom safely and responsibly.
In addition to Prom and After Prom, the Erie High School StuGo has worked diligently to plan a fun week of events for all students, including Spirit Days, school community events, and a Prom Assembly for juniors/seniors. To learn more about StuGo plans, please review this information. I look forward to a great, spirited week at EHS next week, and thank StuGo and their sponsor Ms. Stuart for their thoughtful planning and leadership.
Thank you all for your continued support of your child(ren) and Erie High School. I hope that you and your family have an outstanding weekend.
Sincerely,
Josh Griffin
Erie High School Principal
