Community Update – April 20, 2023
Dear Erie High School Families,
I hope that you and your family had a great week. I am looking forward to an exciting weekend with our students during the 2023 Prom and After Prom. Best wishes to our juniors and seniors on a fun, enjoyable, and safe Prom weekend!
We are now just about 23 days away from the conclusion of the school year for 9th – 11th grade students, and 17 days away from the last day of school for the Erie High School Class of 2023. It is important that our students have a strong finish to this semester – there are so many opportunities for our students to shine both in and out of the classroom between now and the end of the school year.
Specifically, we are preparing for the administration of the 2023 AP exams between May 1 – May 12. This year, we are excited to share that over 1,100 students have signed up to complete AP exams. This is an important opportunity for our students to not only demonstrate their knowledge after one year of preparation, but also to earn college credit. We are excited to see how well our students perform on these important exams. For information on AP exams at EHS, view this 2023 AP Exam Guide.
Thank you for your continued and ongoing support of your child(ren) and our school. I hope that you and your family enjoy an outstanding weekend!
Sincerely,
Josh Griffin
Erie High School Principal
