Dear Erie High School Families,
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at Erie High School. I hope that you and your family are enjoying an outstanding summer and building excitement for the new year at EHS! I am thrilled to start my 2nd year as Erie High School principal, and look forward to welcoming back our teachers next week and our students on August 16th (Class of 2027) and August 17th (all students).
As a school community this year, our focus remains on providing opportunities for all of our students to thrive. High school is an important time for students to grow as people, students, artists, athletes, and citizens. Our faculty, staff, and administration is fully committed to delivering time, space, and opportunities for our students to grow and thrive in each of these areas. I appreciate the investment of our parents and families, as your support, care, and encouragement are vital to the success of our students.

I am excited to see the completion of our updated and improved parking lot. We added over 140 new parking spaces through this lot improvement. I am confident that this will be a significant improvement for parking and pick-up / drop-off traffic for our students, staff, and families. I am grateful to our SVVSD leadership and operations & management team for their commitment to completing these impressive improvements to serve our community.
Thank you for your continued support of your child(ren) and Erie HIgh School. I hope that you and your family have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Josh Griffin
Erie High School Principal
