Ms. Zwink’s French students took part in a competition using virtual reality to compete against other students. In the event, Erie High School’s Keigan McElhinney and Erik Konicke were recognized for their excellent work. Both students achieved “Laureate” status and will walk away with $100 and $50 Amazon gift cards.
Erik Konike, EHS junior, was the first person in the whole district to ever receive this recognition! There were a total of 2,189 students in the competition so it really is an amazing triumph. EHS’ students were competing against 8 other schools in the district, mostly Spanish students. They will receive their prizes and certificates after Thanksgiving Break. CONGRATULATIONS, Ms. Zwink, and World Languages students!
