Erie High School
Community Update – 03.30.2023
Dear Erie High School Families,
I hope that you and your family enjoyed Spring Break. We have enjoyed an excellent week at Erie High School upon return from break. Our students, teachers, and staff have done a great job of getting back into the swing of things in all areas of their academic life. With only about eight more weeks remaining in the school year, this is an important time for our students to focus on taking the necessary steps daily to ensure a strong finish to the school year.
It was a pleasure to host the parents of our Class of 2023 on the evening of March 30th for the Senior Parent Graduation meeting. Graduation is an important opportunity to honor and celebrate this graduating class, and I am fully committed to ensuring that we recognize these outstanding students in an honorable and dignified manner on May 27th!
Thank you to the 100s of parents that turned out to learn more about the graduation ceremony and end-of-year events for our seniors. This is an exciting time in the lives of our soon-to-be graduates, and I look forward to celebrating this incredible group at graduation.
After this meeting, we have asked all Class of 2023 students & families to thoroughly review the Class of 2023 Graduation Packet, and after doing so, complete the Class of 2023 Graduation Participation Agreement & Ticket Request by April 5th. The Graduation Packet provides important details and expectations regarding the end of the school year and graduation – thank you in advance for taking the time to review these important materials.
If you have questions regarding the end of the school year and/or graduation, please contact the Erie High School Main Office (303-828-4213), your child’s counselor, or a member of the administration.
I hope that you and your family have an outstanding weekend. Thank you for your continued and ongoing support of your child(ren) and our school.
Sincerely,
Josh Griffin
Erie High School Principal
