Pictured are Officers Brandon Ohnstad, Shannon Crow and Cara Thoen of the Erie Police Department.  These three of Erie’s Finest work as School Resource Officers (SROs) at Soaring Heights, Erie High, and Erie Middle, respectively.

The officers are at the schools during hours of operation through a joint venture between SVVSD and the Erie Police Department to provide police protection at Erie’s secondary schools.  These officers also bring their experiences to classrooms from time to time to teach students directly.

We are unbelievably lucky to have this cadre of caring law enforcement officers who exemplify the positive qualities of their chosen profession!
