Graduation of the Class of 2021

This year’s senior class will graduate on Saturday, May 29th at 10am in Tiger Stadium!  Due to remaining COVID restrictions, this event is not open to the general public or community this year but a free livestream of the ceremony will be available on the Erie Tiger Network.  Each graduate had a number of tickets they could use for their family and friends.  Tickets unused by one student have been offered to students who have a need for additional tickets.  The weather forecast for the start of the ceremony looks good but contingency plans are in place for delaying the ceremony if the weather is inclement.  This year’s ceremony will NOT be moved indoors in the event of bad weather due to COVID precautions.

Parking is always at a premium for graduation.  Parkings spots nearest the field are reserved for people who are experiencing a handicap.  Others may park in our main lot, the far side of the back lot, the bus loop and at Soaring Heights.  For this event, Erie Police have approved parking on Road 5, Erie Parkway and Colliers Parkway.  Please make sure that you park your car out of the way of traffic and please be careful on your way to the school.  We will have a few golf carts available to drive people to the stadium from the parking lot.

All others may watch a live stream of the graduation ceremony on the Erie Tiger Network.  An archive of the broadcast will remain up on the Erie Tiger Network indefinitely for your viewing.  To watch the stream simply tune in on a smartTV, computer or mobile device.  You may find the link to the broadcast on the front of our school’s website.  Look for a small window for the broadcast and click on it to watch full screen.  Links will also be available via social media so stay tuned to your stream.

At graduation masks are not required but are recommended for those who are not vaccinated.  Since we don’t have our typical comforts available for shade and easy access seating, guests who are uncomfortable in warm weather or sitting for a long time are asked to watch from home.  We will not have the stream available in any of our indoor locations as we typically would.  Umbrellas, signs and any other obstructions should be left at home.  Please wear sunscreen and have water to enjoy during the ceremony.

We look forward to this formal goodbye to the Class of 2021!
