Erie High School is gearing up for Prom Spirit Week starting on Monday, April 17th. Student Government has been planning a full week of activities ranging from themed days to our annual powderpuff football game! The list of events is as follows;

Monday, April 17th:
Dress Like You’re Famous Day! Take inspiration from your favorite celebrity or put on a big pair of sunglasses to hide from the paparazzi.

Tuesday, April 18th:
College Day! Dress up in your favorite college gear.

Basketball Tournament 70s groovy style! Student Government will be hosting a basketball tournament starting at 6pm in the main gym. Teams will be playing bracket style with the winning team moving on to the next round until we have our final winner. The final winners will receive a special prize! Spectators are welcome and highly encouraged to dress in your best 70s groovy outfits.

Wednesday, April 19th:
Class Colors Day! Each class will dress in their class colors;

  • Seniors: Pink
  • Juniors: Blue
  • Sophomores: Orange
  • Freshmen: Green
  • Staff: Purple

Prom Spirit Assembly. During advisory, Juniors and Seniors will head down to the main gym for a Prom Spirit Assembly! The assembly will include some information regarding prom, Juniors vs. Seniors games, a booster club raffle, and a surprise performance to get excited about the powderpuff football game!

Powderpuff Football Game will take place at 7:15pm on the football field. Junior girls will take on Senior girls in a flag football game, with a special halftime performance from our powderpoms. Dress up in either pink (Seniors) or blue (Juniors) to support your class and cheer them on! The Snowy Churro will be in attendance where you will be able to purchase ice cream, churros, and other sweet treats. 10% of sales will go to the EHS Student Government!

Thursday, April 20th:
Salad Day! Each class will dress as a certain salad dressing;

  • Seniors: Ranch (Western clothing)
  • Juniors: Thousand Island (Hawaiian clothing)
  • Sophomores: Caesar (White and gold clothing)
  • Freshman: Blue Cheese (All blue clothing)
  • Staff: Whichever class you see most that day

Friday, April 21st:
Erie Spirit Wear! Dress in your favorite EHS gear or wear any orange and black clothing.

Saturday, April 22nd: Prom! The theme is A Night in the Lights which is being held at CU Folsom Field.
