Thursday night, November 21st, Erie streets were descended upon by members of the Erie High School National Honor Society. Students from the philanthropic organization collected canned foods and non-perishable items to donate to the food pantry. Around 60 students made the rounds in Erie neighborhoods and collected several carloads full of food.
Collecting the food really made the students feel proud of their accomplishment and the community answered by with kindness. The students were very well received by the community.
NHS’ Michael Warner worked really hard and organized an amazing army of Honor Society members to make this community outreach a success. Thank you Erie High School National Honor Society!
