Course Registration for 2021-22

21-22 Registration Information

Counselors are preparing for the 21-22 school year course registration. Fridays from 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. are dedicated for students preparing for registration. Emails and schoology updates will be sent out weekly Friday mornings with updates and videos for next steps in the registration process, please see the timeline below. If you have questions or concerns, please set up a meeting with your counselor through Calendly on the EHS counseling website.

  • January 8th:  Naviance Activities and ICAP Planning. ICAP is a graduation requirement. These activities are going to help you/your student plan for courses that meet their interests and post secondary aspirations. Class 2021 seniors must complete their grade level end of year surveys for 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade.
  • January 15th: Students will review their credit check, view the grade level registration considerations video, explore the course descriptions website, and complete the their grade level ICAP survey (required for graduation). 
  • January 22nd: Students will view a screencast that walks them  through the registration process, review  the  previous week course description website and grade level consideration. We are using a program called My App in Infinite Campus, this is a new process, there will be a lot of information sent out regarding the registration process, please follow the preparatory activities ahead of time so you are prepared to register the week of January 25th.
  • January 25th – 29th: Registration week. Counselors will be pushing into freshmen and sophomore study halls  Monday and Tuesday January 25th & 26th. Counselors and administrators will hold open office hours first 30 minutes of every block  Wednesday and Thursday (January 27th  & 28th). Friday January 29th counselors will meet with students who have not requested classes. 

Juniors, registering for your senior year, the Math department is starting to have conversations regarding course placement, if you are planning on attending a 4 year university it is STRONGLY recommended you take a 4th year of math. For those who are not on a four year university track, it is still highly encouraged.
