Dear Erie High School Parents and Guardians,

 

Thank you for your continued partnership in making Erie High such an exceptional learning community for our students to thrive. As we look ahead to the start of the 2019-2020 school year, there will be some changes to our school schedule that we would like to share.

To continue supporting the overall success and well-being of our students, St. Vrain Valley Schools will be adjusting start times at our high schools to create an optimal balance between a later start time and ensuring an early release that allows for participation in athletics and activities, student employment, and additional family and study time. This is part of a larger strategic shift that started two years ago with adjustments to several high school schedules in the district.

Next year, our schedule will adjust as follows:

• Start Time: 7:45 a.m.; End Time: 2:45 p.m.

We will continue to communicate this and any other changes for 2019-2020 throughout the spring and summer months. I truly appreciate your continued support as we work with our students, teachers, staff and families to ensure a strong finish to an outstanding school year.
