For the second year in a row Erie High School has been named among the best high schools in the nation by U.S. News and World Report and THE BEST high school in Weld County! The U.S. News Best High Schools rankings include data on more than 24,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. Nearly 18,000 schools were ranked on six factors based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college. To determine that Erie High School be named one of the nation’s best, U.S. News and World Report looked at the following factors:
- College Readiness Index
- College Curriculum Breadth
- Math and Reading Proficiency
- Math and Reading Performance
- Graduation Rate
