This week Erie High School students had Advisory each day for three days. Typically, this class will only occur each Wednesday except on Late Start Days. This 45-minute class is designed to allow students an opportunity to develop a relationship with an EHS teacher who is not encumbered by teaching content. Instead, the focus is on grade-level important topics and community building. Advisory is one of the many ways the EHS continues to have a small-town feel despite our ever-growing student population.
Freshmen may spend more time learning how to be a high-schooler while upperclassmen learn how to discover career paths that might be of interest to them and check on their progress toward graduation.
This week students learn about Advisory itself and were, among other things, introduced to each of the members of the EHS front office team. We thought you might like to see those videos for yourself.
