If you are a freshman or just new to Erie High School you may not know how final exams work. The last three days of the semester are used for final exams. Final exam sessions are 90 minutes each with a ten-minute passing period between them. After testing for each day, buses will run students home. No lunch will be served but EHS Nutritional Services will provide a small number of lunch bags of to-go lunch for those who need them. Finals days are short days to allow teachers to grade finals and complete the grade inputting prior to leaving for Winter Break.

Typically grade books are closed once the final exam has been completed. Any work you plan to turn in after the final exam must be arranged with the teacher prior to taking the final exam. Grades for most students will be posted before teachers leave for Winter Break. You can tell if a grade is finalized when it changes color in Infinite Campus.
