Dear Erie High Families,
Thank you for your continued support of the Erie Basketball program and dedication to the Erie community. As we prepare for our next season, we remain committed to upholding the highest standards of student success and achievement both on and off the field. Today I am excited to announce that after an extensive search, we have appointed Mr. Jefferey Parriott as our next head basketball coach.
Coach Parriott brings with him 35 years of coaching experience, a robust background of leadership, and a passion for student achievement. Coach Parriott has an extensive track record of head coaching success, having served as the head coach at Westminster High School and Dakota Ridge High School before becoming the head basketball coach at Arvada West High School. Coach Parriott received his Master’s degree in Education Administration from the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth Kansas, and a Bachelor of Arts Social Science degree from the University of Northern Colorado. We are pleased to have found such a strong, highly-recommended candidate, and are excited about the mentorship that Coach Parriott will provide for our students.
We welcome all interested players to attend a meeting with Coach Parriott at the Erie High Tiger Den on Tuesday, April 18 at 3:00 p.m. Parents are invited to attend a meeting with Coach Parriott that same evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Erie High Tiger Den.
Thank you for your continued partnership in making Erie High School such an exceptional community for our students to thrive in. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at 303-828-4213.
Sincerely,
Chad Cooper, Assistant Principal
