As we approach the midway point of the first semester it’s time to think about Parent/Teacher Conferences. These meetings are intended to discuss the situation that has led some students to be less successful in classes. It also is a chance for parents, students, and their teachers to plan out a road map to the successful completion of the class by the semester’s end.

Conferences will be offered both in-person and virtually this year to increase convenience. Scheduling for conferences will be done through MeetTheTeacher again this year regardless of the type of conference you prefer. Conferences will be held on Tuesday, October 12th, and Wednesday, October 13th from 3:45 pm to 6:45 pm. In-person conferences will be from 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm on Tuesday evening and all other conferences will be virtual.

Parents of students with Ds & Fs will be invited first to set appointments because it is most important for these conferences to take place. Invitations will be sent out on October 4th to those with Ds and Fs. The remainder of parents will be allowed to set appointments beginning on October 6th. We will send a link out to all of our parents to allow them to create a set of appointments with their children’s teachers.
