Solving parking lot problems

Parking at Erie High School is a privilege reserved only for those who have a parking permit. In accordance with SVVSD policies, parking permits cost $5 and are reusable from year to year as students progress through high school.

Because of the increased parking demand and the importance of student safety, EHS administration will be enforcing parking rules more stringently this year. The school must be able to identify any vehicles in the parking lot that don’t belong to a student or staff member to avoid potential risks. Parking permits also help to ensure that every car parked in our lot carries insurance in the event of a fender bender.

As the school year progresses, the number of sophomores who drive to school increases, and the availability of parking spots decreases. It is essential that students park and drive appropriately in the parking lot. When students don’t demonstrate safe behavior in the parking lot, they may lose their parking privilege.

Buying a permit is easy! Just visit the online application page and fill out the relevant information including the name of the drivers, their driver’s license number, plate number, and insurance information. Once this information has been received, students can get their permit from Ms. Molly, EHS Campus Supervisor with a $5 payment.
