Erie High School recently was able to add a number of course sections due to large class sizes caused by increased growth in our community.
When those class sections were added, it meant shifting a large number of students' schedules to fill those new classes.
If your child has a problem that was caused by this recent shuffling of the schedule, please contact their counselor by clicking on the links below and completing a quick form detailing the issue they are having.
The first day of regular classes for all students is Thursday, August 20th. This is following an Orientation Day for incoming Freshmen and new students the day prior. Classes will run on a regular Day 1 schedule. The schedule has changed since last year, though:
The annual Snowball Dance is being held on January 24th from 8 - 11pm this year in the Erie High School Main Gym. This is a Sadie-Hawkins style dance so girls are supposed to ask boys. The theme for this dance is from the Disney movie Frozen.
Tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased at the door.
On April 23rd, Erie High’s 11th Graders are required to take the ACT test at 7:25am. They will need to get a ride to school for this since buses will run approximately 3 hours 45 minutes later than usual in the morning with classes beginning at 11:35am. The schedule that day follows:
ACT Testing (for 11th graders only): 7:25 – 11:30 Period 5: 11:35 – 12:05 Period 6: 12:10 – 12:40 Lunch: 12:40 – 1:20 Period 7: 1:20 – 1:50 Period 8: 1:55 – 2:25
